The Story of a me as a Photographer
As I mentioned, I wear a few different hats and am a photographer, mum, teacher, DIYer, interiors lover and beach goer. The photo above is where you'll find me most weekends when I'm not shooting!
I have three kids who are of course, my main muses... much to their annoyance at times! My littlest love, Taj is pictured above. My motivation for picking up my camera was (and still is) to document our lives for my kids, so that they have something concrete to look back on when they are older and to help them to understand our story and their history.
My passion and drive for this comes from the fact that I only have a couple of handfuls of photos of my mum, and in particular, of my mum with the rest of our family. I have even fewer photos of my grandparents! Unfortunately my mum passed away when I was just 17 and trust me, I wish I had mountains of photos of her to look at. I truly believe that photos help to shape and solidify our memories and I don't know about any other sleep deprived mama's, but my memory feels awfully hazy these days!
So, now I want to do the same for you! I want you to treat yourselves to a photography experience (yes, it is an experience!) and think of it as quality family time. I am with you every step of the way and trust me, I have been in your shoes and I know first hand allllll of the emotions that come with a session. Do it for YOU! And if not you, do it for your kids, their kids, nieces, nephews, grandparents and any significant others in your lives.

I'm all about your client experience.
Family photos but not as you know them.
These moments don't last forever so capturing the smiles, expressions and laughter between you and your loved ones is priceless. My style of photography is both natural and candid, providing gentle prompts along the way to allow authentic moments to evolve.
Throughout our pre-session chats, I take the time to build a relationship with you and then on the day, the rest of your family. This ensures that you all feeling more at ease in front the camera. In fact, I walk away (sometimes holding hands with one of your kiddos) from most of my sessions feeling as though I have made some new friends and to be honest, I am totally happy to blur those lines between business and friendship.
